REVIEWS
nForce 630i MCP wins Driver Heaven Best in Class Award
Driver Heaven Best in Class
Throughout the tests the XFX product performed very well, consistently on par or slightly ahead of the G33 based motherboard when testing desktop performance in applications such as Cinebench. This was particularly surprising considering the use of single channel memory on the XFX products. When testing gaming not only did they provide some competitive performance the features offered by XFX’s onboard graphics were superior.
XFX nForce 630i MCP with GeForce 7150 GPU Review
Motherboards.org
XFX did a wonderful job with their nForce 630i and GeForce 7150 solution. The board has plenty of the features that you need to run the latest Intel CPUs and has integrated graphics that don’t suck as well for the Home Theater PC market. The HTPC user will love the integrated graphics card on this board, as it has HDMI, DVI and VGA ports, meaning you can attach any kind of monitor to it and it’ll work out of the box and has PureVideo capabilities to play the latest Blu-Ray and HD-DVD movies.
XFX nForce 630i MCP - Excellent Value for Money
Bjorn3D Seal of Approval
The board is very stable, performs well, and has a lot of features packed into a small space. I find it an excellent value for the money. Overall, this is a strong board for the mainstream user with excellent video capabilities right out of the box. I especially liked the HDMI port right there on the motherboard, making it ideal for a home entertainment system. When XFX decides to launch a “value” line, they don’t mess around! I highly recommend the XFX nForce 630i with GeForce 7150 graphics for use in a home entertainment system dedicated to watching/recording movies. For the mainstream user and even gamer, it’s a good basis for building a solid system in a small package.
